Media Lab Engineer: Matt Doctor      Matt Doctor has received a certificate in Audio Production from the University of Washington. He has also earned his Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology with an emphassis in Punk and Hardcore culture. Matt spent six months interning at Glenn Sound Studios studying under Glenn Lorbiecki and Eric Awes. He has run live sound at the Ground Zero, Breakroom, and Vera Project; as well as being the front of house engineer at the Old Fire House since November of 2001. Matt has been recording local bands at his own studio, Melancholy Recordings, since 1999.      Some Bands Matt has worked with include 14 Days of Terror, Back in the Day, Buried in the Desert, Carmenzito, Crawl Not Walk, Culture Pop, Fishnet John and the Queernaits and more.
